Location: Brevard Academy, Brevard, NC

Employment Type: Part-time (up to 6 hours/week)

Position Overview
Brevard Academy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based services for students with disabilities. The PT helps students access their education by delivering consultative and direct therapy aligned with IEP goals and completing Medicaid billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and implement individualized PT services based on IEPs.
• Provide therapy and recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation.
• Maintain thorough records and complete Medicaid billing documentation.
• Attend meetings or trainings as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• NC Physical Therapist license (required).
• Experience with school-aged children or pediatric populations preferred.
• Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
  
  

Schedule

• Up to 6 hours per week.
