As you know, we are quickly approaching the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene, and NCAPCS continues to support our WNC Schools. We are excited to tell you that NCAPCS has partnered with Save the Children to offer our WNC Charter Schools a FREE training called Bridges Training. This FREE training led by Save the Children will equip school leaders, teachers, and counselors with the tools needed to support students who are still dealing with trauma on the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene. 

When: Wednesday, October 8, 2025 

Where: ArtSpace Charter School (2030 US-70, Swannanoa, NC 28778) 

Time: 9 am - 3 pm 

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Funds are also available to cover the costs of substitute teachers. We would like at least one representative from each WNC charter school. The training is capped at 35 participants.
