As you know, these critical leadership positions will determine the short- and long-term success of your charter school. Jim Gray is an independent search consultant and a member of the NCAPCS who has worked with multiple charter schools. 

He will help you answer these important questions: 

  • Do I do the search ourselves or hire an outside consultant? 
  • How do consultants charge, and how much would my search cost? 
  • What timeframe should we expect for a successful search? 
  • What’s the role of our board? 
  • Should we search in North Carolina or nationwide? 
  • What are the best job sites to use?
