Description


Whether you’re new to charter board service or are ready for a refresher on the role of a charter school board of trustees and how your position fits in, this webinar will review the fundamental role of a charter school board and how that relates to and differs from the role of your school leader/management team. We will also review your individual role, including an overview of your ethical and conflict of interest obligations.

Presenter:  Mike Mizzoni

Mike is the Chief Governance Officer at BoardOnTrack and has worked with hundreds of charter school boards nationwide.  Specifically, Mike has partnered with NC charter boards for over 8 years.  In his work, Mike combines his experience as a practicing attorney with his time working and serving on boards to provide energetic and insightful sessions on charter board governance.
